For the time being, the sole distributor in Switzerland was Studer und Thomann AG, which no longer bought its channels from ACO in Germany but from the canton of Glarus. As early as spring, Mitlödi had to increase the production output of channels from the originally planned 420 m per day. Den Alleinvertrieb in der Schweiz hat vorerst noch die Studer und Thomann AG inne, die ihre Rinnen nun nicht mehr von ACO aus Deutschland, sondern aus dem Kanton Glarus bezieht. Bereits im Frühjahr muss Mitlödi den Produktionsausstoß an Rinnen von ursprünglich geplanten 420 m je Tag erhöhen. Im ersten vollen Fertigungsjahr 1974 erwirtschaftet die „Seidendruckerei“ bei Verkaufserlösen von über 2,5 Millionen Schweizer Franken einen Reingewinn von 226.000 Franken.
