ACO hat wegen der Betonwabenproduktion im Rüttel-Press-Verfahren bereits Erfahrung in der Herstellung von GFK-Formen mit einer Hinterfüllung aus Sand vermischt mit Polyesterharz, also gleichsam Polyesterbeton. Das ist das Arbeitsgebiet des ACO-Modellbauers Grabow. Dieter Brink kommt darauf, den neuartigen Werkstoff für die Rinnen einzusetzen. Hier verbinden sich also die Kompetenzen aus der Kunststoffproduktion in Andernach mit dem Beton-Know-How in Rendsburg.
